A USB heated knit glove is a knitted glove with a detachable heating pad velcroed to the back of the hand, powered through a cable from a standard 5V USB supply and rated for 40-50°C constant warmth. The fingertips are open. That last detail is the whole point — the fingers stay free for a keyboard, a pen, a controller or a phone, while the back of the hand and the palm stay warm.
Three things make this a different product from a battery heated glove, and they are worth understanding before a purchase: the voltage is 5V rather than a battery pack's higher rail, the pad comes out so the knit can be washed, and the certification position is stated on the product itself.
The glove runs on a standard 5V USB supply — a power bank, a laptop, a PC, or a USB adapter. That is a deliberate choice rather than a limitation.
5V is the voltage every USB port already provides. It means the buyer does not need a proprietary charger, and a replacement power source is whatever is already in the bag. It also keeps the electrical side modest: the reference specification lists over-current, over-voltage and short-circuit protection built in, together with overheat protection.
The heat itself is rated at 40-50°C (104-122°F) constant warmth, with a rapid heat-up in seconds. Warmer than a hand, well below anything that would burn — and confirmed against the approved sample rather than assumed from a datasheet.
The glove carries CE, FCC and RoHS certification. That is a compliance statement about the product as tested, not a marketing badge, and it is one of the first things a distributor should verify on the certificate.
The heating pad is a velcro-detachable patch on the back of the hand. Pull it off, and what remains is an ordinary knitted glove.
That single design decision does two things. It makes the glove washable — the knit can be washed once the pad and cable are out — and it turns the pad into a replaceable component rather than a permanent fixture. For a programme, that is the difference between a glove that gets thrown away when the element fails and one that gets a new pad.
The cable is a durable DC/USB cord running from the pad to the supply. The pad itself is thin and flexible, which is what allows it to sit under a knit without creating a lump you can feel through the back of the hand.
The glove is half-finger: the tips are open, the hand is covered. That is what makes it useful at a desk rather than only outdoors.
| Situation | Why open fingers matter |
| Typing | You need fingertip contact with the keys; a full glove makes every keystroke approximate |
| Writing | A pen needs a pinch grip, and a covered thumb cannot feel the barrel |
| Gaming | Controller buttons and thumbsticks need tactile feedback |
| Phone | Touchscreens do not respond reliably to knit fabric |
The heating is dual-side — back of the hand and palm — so the warmth is not concentrated on one face. Heat on the back of the hand does most of the work; heat on the palm is what you notice when you close your hand around something cold.
The knit is high-elastic and breathable, described in the reference material as elastic and stretchable, breathable and skin-friendly, and soft and cozy. Those are not decorative adjectives in a heated glove — they are the reason it can be worn for a working day.
A glove that does not breathe traps moisture, and a damp glove is colder than a dry one. A glove that does not stretch cannot be sized one-size-fits-most. Elasticity is what lets the fit be universal, one size fitting most adults, which removes the sizing conversation from a small-batch order entirely.
Five colourways are offered as reference: Heather Grey, Obsidian Black, Navy Blue, Cream White and Soft Pink, with custom Pantone matching available.
A heated glove puts an electrical element against the back of your hand. These are the operating rules, not a legal appendix.
This product is not a medical device. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease, and it makes no claim about arthritis, joint pain or circulation. It warms a hand.
| Category | What can be set |
| Colour | Five reference colourways, or custom Pantone matching |
| Logo | Woven label, embroidery or patch |
| Packaging | Custom gift box |
| Order size | Flexible MOQ, with small batch orders supported |
| Configuration | Full-finger or half-finger, subject to the approved sample |
| Supply | Standard 5V USB, supplied with a DC/USB cable |
The programme runs the usual four stages — brief, design review, sample approval, order spec — and the sample stage is where the knit quality, the pad's adhesion and the logo placement are all confirmed. A small-batch order is a real option here, which matters for a brand testing a colourway before committing to a full run.
A short list of what this page does not state, and why:
The temperature and voltage figures above are stated because they are part of the product's own specification. Everything that depends on what the buyer plugs in is confirmed with the order instead.
Dongguan Sheerfond New Material Co., Ltd. develops and manufactures far-infrared and graphene heating materials, and designs the thermal systems built around them. Our low-voltage heating range covers 3.7 V, 5 V, 12 V, 24 V and 36 V architectures, and our wearable programmes apply that low-voltage experience at the scale of a glove. Products are manufactured against project specifications with batch inspection records.
Send us your colourways, logo method, packaging requirements, target quantity and destination market. If you are testing a colour or a logo treatment, tell us — small batch orders are supported, and that is usually the fastest way to a decision.
Price indication: quoted per project, because colourway, logo method, packaging and order size all move the number.

How do USB heated knit gloves work?
A detachable heating pad on the back of the hand is powered through a cable from a standard 5V USB supply. The pad warms the back of the hand and the palm; the fingertips stay open.
What temperature do they reach?
40-50°C (104-122°F) constant warmth as specified for this product, with a rapid heat-up in seconds. The figure is confirmed against the approved sample.
Can I wash them?
Yes — remove the velcro heating pad and unplug the cable first, then wash the knit to the care label. Never wash the pad or the cable.
Do they have a battery inside?
No. The glove draws from a USB supply — a power bank, laptop, PC or USB adapter. That is why there is no runtime figure: it depends on what you connect.
What certifications do they carry?
CE, FCC and RoHS, with over-current, over-voltage and short-circuit protection built in.
Will one size fit?
The fit is universal elastic, described as one size fitting most adults. Final measurements are confirmed on the approved sample.
This product is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. It warms a hand and makes no claim regarding arthritis, joint pain or any other condition. Use a standard 5V USB supply only; remove the heating pad and unplug the cable before washing and never wash the pad or cable; do not fold or crush the pad while powered; switch off if the skin feels numb or uncomfortably hot; do not use while sleeping; not for children. Measurements and final details are confirmed per project against the approved sample.
